Two races. No engines. No support.

Wanderer is preparing for two of the toughest engineless races in the Pacific Northwest: wind and muscle only, no outside help, and a lot of cold water between us and the finish line.

WA360

About 360 miles around Puget Sound · Starts June 13, 2027, in Bellingham

From Bellingham, the course runs south past Deception Pass and down the length of Puget Sound to Olympia Shoal. It then turns north to Port Townsend, a checkpoint at Point Roberts, and back to Bellingham. Teams pick their own route between waypoints, and the finish line closes two weeks after the start.

R2AK

750 miles from Port Townsend to Ketchikan · Summer 2028

The race opens with a "proving ground" leg from Port Townsend to Victoria, BC, then heads up the Inside Passage to Ketchikan, Alaska. There are no engines, no support crews and no guarantees. First place wins $10,000. Second place gets a set of steak knives.
